Stacked Discount Calculator
Free stacked discount calculator: apply two percentage discounts in sequence and see the final price and effective discount.
How the stacked discount calculator works
Enter the original price and two discount percentages to see the final price and the combined discount.
Formula
Final price = price × (1 − d1) × (1 − d2). Effective discount = 1 − final ÷ price.
Worked example
Example: 100 with 20% then 10% off is 72, a combined discount of 28%, not 30%.
FAQ
Why is 20% plus 10% not 30%?
The second discount applies to the already reduced price, so the combined discount is smaller than the sum of the two.
