Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Mofor Devalois Apongshine (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you use InvoiceSeb at invoiceseb.com (the “Service”). InvoiceSeb is designed to need as little personal data as possible: there are no accounts, and the invoices and records you create are stored on your own device.
1. Summary
- No account or login is required.
- Invoices, clients, expenses, logos and signatures you enter are processed in your browser and stored in your device’s local storage. We do not receive them.
- We do not sell personal information.
- A small number of third-party services (our hosting provider and exchange-rate providers) can see your IP address when your browser contacts them.
- If we show advertising, we will ask for your consent where the law requires it.
2. Who is responsible for your data
Mofor Devalois Apongshine is the controller of personal data processed through the Service. You can contact us at invoiceseb@gmail.com.
3. Information we process
Information you enter in the tools
Business and customer details, line items, amounts, notes, payment details, logos and signatures are processed locally in your browser. They are not transmitted to us. If you use Email, your device’s email application opens. If you use Share, your device’s sharing function is used. If you copy a share link, the invoice data is encoded in the part of the link after the # symbol, which browsers do not send to servers; however, anyone who receives the link can read the invoice, so share it with care. Please avoid entering sensitive personal data in free-text fields.
Information you send us
If you contact us, we receive your name, email address and message and use them to reply.
Technical information
Our hosting and content-delivery providers process technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages requested and timestamps in server logs, which we use to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the Service.
Local storage and cookies
We use local storage to remember your preferences and your own saved data. See our Cookie Policy for the full list. The world clock reads your device’s time-zone setting to show local time; this is not precise location and it is not sent to us.
4. How we use information
- To provide, operate and secure the Service.
- To respond to enquiries and requests.
- To maintain and improve the Service, including diagnosing technical problems.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
- With your consent, to show personalised advertising where we enable it.
5. Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service; your consent for advertising cookies and similar technologies, which you can withdraw at any time; compliance with legal obligations; and, where relevant, performance of our Terms of Service.
6. Recipients and third-party services
- Hosting and content-delivery providers that serve the website.
- Exchange-rate providers (ExchangeRate-API at open.er-api.com, and Frankfurter, which publishes European Central Bank reference rates). They receive your IP address and the request for rates; they do not receive any invoice data.
- Google Translate, only if you choose a language other than English: it receives your IP address and the text of the page being translated.
- Our email provider, for messages you send us.
- Google, only if advertising is enabled (see below).
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not allow third parties to use it for their own marketing.
7. Advertising
We may use Google AdSense to display advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info, and you can learn more at how Google uses information from sites that use its services. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland we will request your consent before personalised advertising is shown. Third parties may place and read cookies on your browser, or use web beacons or IP addresses, to collect information as a result of ad serving on our website. We do not use Google’s products to target personalised ads based on sensitive categories (such as health, finances, race or ethnicity, religion, political affiliation or sexual orientation), or based on the activity of users we know to be under 13, and we do not place ad code on pages whose address could contain personal information.
8. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries outside your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
9. Retention
Data stored on your device remains there until you delete it by clearing your browser data or using the controls in the Service. Server logs are kept by our providers for a limited period that is no longer than necessary for security and operations. We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and meet legal obligations.
10. Security
The Service is delivered over HTTPS, requires no passwords and keeps your invoice data on your device, which reduces exposure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. See our Security page.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise a right, email invoiceseb@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. Data you have saved in your browser is under your control: you can export it with Backup and remove it by clearing your browser’s site data.
12. California and other US state residents
We do not sell personal information. If advertising cookies are enabled, they may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising under some state laws; you can decline them in the cookie banner or opt out through Google Ads Settings. You may request access, correction or deletion and will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
13. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Do Not Track
The Service does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals because we do not track users across websites ourselves.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy and will change the date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the website.
